BzWhaChat ("we", "our", or "us") operates the BzWhaChat messaging service available at https://bzwhachat.fun and through our mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

When you use BzWhaChat, we collect:

• Account information: your name, phone number, email address, and password (stored encrypted) when you register.
• Profile information: your profile photo, about text, and optional username if you choose to add them.
• Messages and content: text messages, images, voice messages, and status posts you send through the service. These are stored on our servers to deliver them to recipients.
• Usage information: when you were last active, your online status, and message delivery/read timestamps.
• Technical information: device type and browser information necessary to provide the service.

• To deliver messages, calls, and status updates between you and other users.
• To verify your account via email verification codes.
• To display your profile to other users you communicate with.
• To provide safety features such as blocking and reporting.
• To maintain and improve the reliability and security of the service.

4. Voice and Video Calls

Voice calls on BzWhaChat use peer-to-peer WebRTC technology. Call audio travels directly between devices where possible and is not recorded or stored on our servers. Call history (who called whom, when, and duration) is stored to display your call log.

5. Microphone and Camera Access

The app requests microphone access only when you make voice calls or record voice messages, and camera/photo access only when you choose to share images or update your profile photo. These permissions are never used in the background.

6. Status Posts

Status updates you post are visible to your contacts for 24 hours, after which they automatically expire. You can see who viewed your status. You can delete your status at any time before expiry.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

• Messages remain stored until deleted by users or by our data retention processes.
• Status posts expire automatically after 24 hours.
• You may request full deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

8. Data Security

All communication between your device and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. Passwords are stored using industry-standard bcrypt hashing. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no system is 100% secure.

9. Children's Privacy

BzWhaChat is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google AdSense — may display advertisements on our website. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.
• STUN/TURN servers — used to establish voice call connections. No call content is stored by these services.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information through your profile settings.
• Delete your account and personal data.
• Object to processing of your information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
